A new helipad was constructed on top of the existing UVA Hospital bed tower roof. The project incorporated a new control tower for the function of the helipad.

RBI installation work included:

• Heating and chilled water piping with fan coil units serving helipad control tower
• Fans and charcoal filtration units added to existing air handling unit intake air systems
• Storm drains and piping for helipad platform
• Steam piping to heat exchanger station serving helipad snow melt system
