The new Data Sciences building is a four-story 60,000 square-foot facility housing adaptive classrooms, faculty offices, meeting and research areas. District campus water loops supply heating and chilled water to the building via building heating exchangers and heating and chilled water pumps.  Extensive ductwork throughout the building delivers conditioned air for occupant comfort.

The Mechanical installed systems included:

• Central station building air handling units
• A dedicated outside air handler supplying conditioned air to multiple variable air volume terminal units for individual space comfort cooling and heating

Plumbing systems installed include:

• Domestic cold and hot water
• Sanitary sewer/vent and stormwater piping systems
• Low-flow plumbing fixtures
